In 2002 we started our non-profit agency with a mission to provide the highest quality of supports within our social services industry. One of our major objectives is to educate the public regarding services rendered in the Home and Community Based Services Program (HCS). There is a lot of acronyms to learn, so we have attempted to write out many acronyms and give examples. Two things I want you to remember, bigger is not always better!…and secondly,  this is a choice program and you can choose/change providers at anytime. 

In our industry, you need both experience and dedication. On average, our full time staff have 14 years of experience working in the field of developmental disabilities ranging from 5 to 31 years.  Even our part time staff average 21 years of experience.

Advantage Community Services contracts with DADS to serve 9 counties in North Texas region: Collin, Cooke, Dallas, Denton, Ellis, Fannin, Grayson, Johnson, and Navarro.

Disclaimer:  Advantage Community Services has provided services in Tarrant County, all statistics only pertain to the nine counties mentioned in Waiver Contract Area 3 (excluding Tarrant).  Within the next six months, these nine counties will be the only counties served by Advantage Community Services.
