In 2002 we started our non-profit agency with a mission to provide the highest quality of supports within our social services industry. One of our major objectives is to educate the public regarding services rendered in the Home and Community Based Services Program (HCS). There is a lot of acronyms to learn, so we have attempted to write out many acronyms and give examples. Two things I want you to remember, bigger is not always better!…and secondly,  this is a choice program and you can choose/change providers at anytime. 

In our industry, you need both experience and dedication. On average, our full time staff have 10 years of experience working in the field of developmental  disabilities ranging from 6 to 20 years.  Even our part time staff have an average of over 20 years.

Advantage Community Services contracts with DADS to serve 9 counties in North Texas region: Collin, Cooke, Dallas, Denton, Ellis, Fannin, Grayson, Johnson, and Navarro.

Disclaimer: Although we currently provide services in 9 counties, we will only be accepting further consumers from Contract Waiver Area 3 which include:  Collin, Cooke, Dallas, Denton, Fannin and Grayson Counties.  This is due to the way the Department of Aging has re-arranged MRA counties/regions in the past.
